Jenna. Jul 16. Houston Zoo.
Alicia and I talked about taking a trip to the Houston Zoo on one of the 2 days she had a break from school. We decided on today, Kevin took off from work, and I learned just last week that today was also one of the zoo’s Free Days. So, I unexpectedly saved our family about $50 in admission costs. :)
Now time for the pictures. Most were taken on our air-conditioned picnic in the backseat of our van. (It was so hot outside; we drained all of our water pretty early and then refilled in the water fountain.)
Otherwise the pictures are pretty self-explanatory, if you’ve ever been to a zoo.
(This one of Carlee is kind of funny – Carlee was talking to and trying to hug this picture of a rhino, and then when I wanted to take her pic, she started running away from it.)
