Making things to freeze is my favorite way to save time & money. I know these will come in handy after my foot surgery and when school starts.

Jenna. Jul 27. Millions of Peaches.
This is what you do when peaches are on sale for 88 cents a pound. You buy as many as will fit into a plastic bag. I bought 8.73 pounds and wish I had bought more. You see, they freeze well for smoothies. And, the Germans tried to get the kids to say Pfirsich. [And I'd like to hear you try.]

Jenna. Jul 25. Colby’s Self-Portrait.
His class made these at VBS in early June and they’ve been hanging in the hallway of the preschool wing ever since. Such cute decorations – and he drew himself so well!

Jenna. Jul 24. Feet.
Just wanted to give you a picture of what keep me “on my toes” – you’ll notice that next to my big toes, I have large growths that make my toes turn inward. These are bunions, and yes, they do hurt. I’ve had them for as long as I can remember, though, so I’ve learned to live with them. [In case you didn't know, they are hereditary and are exacerbated by wearing tight shoes. You know, for cheerleading or marching band... 
]
So, I’ll be having surgery soon to remove those bad boys, well one of them at least. The other surgery will be about 6-8 weeks after the first one. I’ll keep you all posted on what’s happening with “The Agony of Da-Feet”. (waa-waaah!)

Jenna. Jul 22. Alleluia Conference.
I went to Baylor for a church children’s choir conference. This is a really big sign.
And, I got to be in a commercial! [Um, for this conference - it will be on the Baylor/Alleluia conference website when it's finished.] The guy behind the camera approached me and asked me to say a few words – so just picture the guy in front of the camera as me, and that’s what it would have looked like.

We have the privilege of hosting 2 students from Germany for a few weeks. They are here with a team from their church in Siegberg.
