Aunt Charlotte’s birthday was yesterday. Colby took it upon himself to clean the dishes when we were cleaning up. Serious work.

Wardrobe Malfunctions
Kennedy is potty training. I say she is because I didn’t push this at all, believe me. With 3 kids in the house age 3 and under (the youngest of which is a newborn and nursing on demand), potty training a not-yet 2 year-old was pretty much the last thing on my list of things to do. But we are about a week into it and I gotta say Kennedy is doing incredibly well.
I am trying to lessen Kennedy’s dependence on her pacifier though. She’s only supposed to get it when she’s in the car or in her bed, but since Carlee’s arrival we’ve been a little more lax about it. So, often she will walk around the house with it and I’ll try to take it away from her and hide it behind my back. Imagine my surprise when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror with a “dinky” stuck to the back of my shirt for easily 3 hours one morning.
Then later that day I went to the gym and ran on the treadmill for awhile. Running after being pregnant definitely has its challenges but I love running when I get the chance. However I never imagined the challenge I’d face that day… Did you know that nursing pads roll? Yep. Right out of my shirt, onto the treadmill, and down three treadmills before coming to a complete stop by the mirror on the other side. Thankfully there were no doors for this meatball to roll out of, and no one else was running so I think maybe no one else saw.
And I thought lifting up my shirt to nurse might be the only malfunction I’d face.
