Video Update
July 8th, 2007
So its time for another video update. These videos are a few weeks old, but show some pretty cute things. Colby has really taken on the role of “Big Brother” quite well. He loves Kennedy and kisses her all the time.

Kennedy has been smiling a lot lately, but this video is from some of her first smiling a few weeks ago. What a cutie:

And last but not least is Kennedy with her favorite item right now, the bird. This is a little blanket with a bird that moves around and “tweets”. It was one of Colby’s favorite toys as well.

You guys sound exactly like Matt and I in all of our short little videos of Addie! How funny! Kennedy is SO cute! We need to make a trip up to Bryan to see her (and you, I guess!). How is having a girl different from having a boy?

I know, it’s almost a requirement that you talk to babies in falsetto. Colby has picked up on this too, so his deep bass voice turns into the highest-pitched screech when he says hi to Kennedy… we have video of that somewhere too.
And yes, I said Colby is a bass. He has the lowest voice of any 2 year-old I’ve ever heard.
Hmm.. differences - Right now we’re noticing that Kennedy is (already) a drama queen. She kind of “fake cries” when she’s a little bit uncomfortable. Colby throws a wall-eyed fit. I also never thought I would be comfortable having a girl, after having a boy. But, I love it. There are so many great things about both of them and I’m glad I get to experience everything by being with them every day.
