Dog Days of Summer
Well, Ladies & Gents, I’m afraid it’s “officially” summer in Texas. Last year seemed to be bloomin’ hot, but so far this year, we have been lucky with clear weather, some rain, and some clouds. But now, the luck has run out. 101 is supposed to be the outside temp… who knows what the heat index will be?
It’s really sad that I have the Weather to talk about and nothing else. Gee. How old am I?
On a different note, last Thursday Kevin and I celebrated 4 looong years of marriage. 
We went to see the matinee of the new “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie and then going to Carter’s Burger for dinner. (I wasn’t very hungry, plus we had popcorn and drinks at the movie! And, I was tired and wanted to go home and go to bed, really.)
Tonight we are celebrating my cousin, Rusty’s birthday. Yay for August birthdays!
